I am confused about how to set custom icons in Ubuntu 8.10. I am used to Win, where you simply provide a path to a custom icon. With linux I have XPM, SVG, PNG, ico, etc icon formats, and various icon/pixmap directories in usr and home. Plus, I sometimes browse (from the custom icon dialogue) to a path where I know there are icons, but none show up in the browse list. Can someone clear this up? thanks
