I recently purchased a laptop. It was pre-loaded with Vista Home Premium, and numerous other goodies including a program called Windows Journal.

I have even more recently upgraded to Win 7 Home Premium. While still in Vista, my copy of Windows Journal (under Program Files) mysteriously disappeared. I thought the upgrade would restore this, but it didn't.

I don't know why it disappeared in the first place, but I was wondering if there is a way for me to get it back ?

mathman,
---
That is kind of related to Tablet PC I ?think?
---
Control Panel ->Programs and Features->Turn Features On and Off->Check Mark Tablet PC
Close All
Reboot
---
Search for files with .ink extension.
---
There is a way to recover and convert notes to XML per MSDN but is complicated from what I can remember.
---
Let me know what happens as I know the theory but have never used the the program even in One Note.
