How to read stored Tomato Bandwidth Logs

I followed the instructions in the post http://www.howtogeek.com/74881.....th-tomato/ and have my router storing backups of the logfile on a network computer.

The logfile is stored as a .GZ file.

How do I view that logfile?

http://www.wikihow.com/Extract-a-Gz-File Try this. Don't know why you have to do it though.
