This strikes me as a spam post. Handbrake can do everything mentioned above, and it's free. And painfully easy to use.

Interesting. It looks like Handbrake supports Linux and Windows too. I think I should check that out some more and see how it compares to dvd::rip on Linux for the DVD to MPEG-4 converting I do.
