How to prevent Outlook 2010 from duplicating sent messages ?

I manage a gmail account with Outlook 2010 and sent messages are duplicated when sent from Outlook. When email traffic is high, it's nasty. Please advise how to correct. Thank you all in advance.

jdelagarza Hi. Email traffic is controlled by logging into gmail, look at your imap and pop3 settings and correct accordingly. Outlook does not control this.
