How do I mark all posts as read when I exit the forums?

However there is no way to mark an item read if you have not read it.

It remembers if you click on an item. Whether or not you actually read the item is another story. It remembers it at the server level, not locally, since when you go to different computers is remembers which you have been to and they are colored black. Unread items or items that have had action since you last read them are colored blue.
