I have Chrome (23.0.1271.97) and I try to play youtube videos and it lags.(I have turned off hardware acceleration)

If you need any detail, ask.

I have IE8 (No IE9 for XP) my internet speed is the "fastest in the country" according to charter and the speed is
PING= 50 ms
DOWNLOAD 6.16 Mbps
UPLOAD 2.82 Mbps

My memory does not exceed past 96% in Chrome
I have 19.9 gb disk space out of 32 gb hard drive
I have 2gb RAM
Youtube works just fine in IE8
I do not have FireFox

{EDIT} I could have 21 GB but I have a bunch of pictures.

I have the same chrome version and everything plays just fine. What happens in another browser? Firefox? IE9? Have you checked your Internet speed (Speedtest.net) To see if it is steady and sufficient? Is your memory full/near full. How about disk space?

Ugh, yes, I gave you suggestions. What happened when you tried them. The purpose of those suggestions was to aid in determining what the problem might be.

Three things you might try:

1. Uninstall Chrome > Reboot > Reinstall Chrome.

2. Type: about:plugins > Press Enter in the address bar and disable the flashplayer > Exit. Go to a video online and go and install another one which it should suggest when you click on a Youtube video say.

3. Get this Chrome version and see if it has the same problem...it will install alongside Google Chrome and not replace it.

If Dragon is OK and Chrome is the same after reinstalling... your Chrome has an as yet unsolved problem with flash that expresses itself in various ways.

Another satisfied customer for Comodo! Seriously, I use it myself and G/Chrome is very poorly....Chrome was perfect for SO LONG and bang it's crippled! It's worth going into Settings and having a look in there in Show Advanced Settings. It has Comodo Secure DNS there which you can turn on or off there as you wish.. top right you will see Privalert (An anti-tracking extension)which may block somethings you might want to see like some ads.... familiarise yourself with that. Most extensions in Chrome store will work I've found with Dragon but not all...there's usually an alternative. To move your bookmarks from Chrome click Dragon > Bookmarks > Import Bookmarks and Settings > From: Chrome.

You might want to add this extension to play with Youtube that you might like...it's quite cool.

Just to be picky...Comodo Dragon is NOT like Google Chrome....They are BOTH like CHROMIUM. Chromium is the parent version of both those browsers. ;)
