All of us regular geeks helping others here know how difficult it is to try and solve a problem posted to a forum. Not only are we unable to see our client's desktop, it's unlikely that we will get a detailed description of the problem. At the end of a recent thread, I made this suggestion: try and lure a geek friend to your house (or school, or work, etc) to fix your computer. This begs the question: what does it take to lure a geek? That could be your inner geek, your geek friend(s), or the vicious stereotype of a geek such as NBC's "Chuck" on TV.
P.S.: this is not a contest, I'm not offering $100, there is no correct answer. Fire away!
