Hi,
Igone through your steps by installing Xp on Vista which is already presinstalled,
but i struck at one point in vistbootpro? im not getting "install bootloader" Tab and in Rundaignostics iam unble to add windows Xp as iam not getting tab "apply update".
please help me out ,my machine is HP dv60000 series model dv6326us.
waiting for reply ASAP.
note:when i restart machine it just loging into XP not into vista.

Did you try running the diagnostics? A number of people have reported this error, I'd definitely like to figure out what the problem is.

Yes, i run the diagnostics,iam unable to add Xp as new O/S.and iam unable to find the tab "apply updates".

You might want to try out EasyBCD instead then... it's a similar product.

You'll need to download EasyBCD from their website to start off with... it's fairly simple to use, but I don't have it installed at the moment, so I can't give you a walkthrough. I think there's a guide on their site.
