There are MANY programs that do that, Google 'capture screen' and you'll find plenty, and many are free.

If you are running Windows7 or Vista, it includes a SNIPPING TOOL which does it well too.

You can also try Gadwin printscreen. You can capture a letter, part of the screen or the whole screen.

Fastone Image Viewer has a screen capture option under the File header...it's quite versatile and is general image editor and convertor is a as well.

What about, Ctrl + Prtsc, then paste in paintshop, or whatever you use? that is what i do and you can't get higher quality because it takes it at the screens resolution.
