How do I disable the "Name" heading. While trying to arange my file's Vista will display them by name, meaning no matter what option's I choose date modified , ect. They are always in alpabetical order. I want them to be in the order I choice. I can not uncheck the name option

Suggest you organize with "Tags". Give Tags to your folders like Axx, Bxx, etc. in the order you would like them to appear (ascending). Then go to "View" (not Views) > Sort by > "More" and move up "Tags" ( with the Move up button on the right). Now back to View > sort by > click "Tags" and "ascending". Now your folders should be sorted by the Tag names.

Just clicking on the "Date Modified" header should make the files sort by date modified.

Tried to click the date modified, but because the "Name" is checked it will still sort them by name, then date modified. I wont to know how to make it so I can uncheck the name option, it is faded, and will not let me. I run everything as administrator?

If you are in "View" go to "More" and move "Date" to the first place. THEN set it to sort by Date Modified. It always uses the leftmost (first column) Argument as sorting criterion - so it seem at least.

@whs: That was based on my understanding on the part "I wont to know how to make it so I can uncheck the name option, it is faded, and will not let me.".
I think that means there is a checkbox in the name header that is disabled or locked.
Not sure why though.
I guess I should have been more clear on that.
