Hi

his is going to sound odd, but I would like to be able to disable all keyboard shortcuts. Why? Well I touchtype fairly well, but from time to time I hit the control key instead of the shift key, which means that unexpected things happen: like deletion of what I've typed, or instant sending of an unfinished email etc.

The only shortcuts I use are control+B which I can live without, and C+Alt+delete, for which I hope there is another way in.

When teaching absolute beginners to use PCs, this is a real bugbear.

I realise that for a lot of people, keyboard shortcuts are great, so please dont spend time trying to tell me that. Just let me move away from the pre-mouse pre-menus days and be able to use the keyboard only to type.

So, any ideas?

Thanks

Hi Tenthumbs, like the handle.

For win 7 these options:

If you are using a different OS, I'll move to the right forum, let us know.
