How to disable the addthis bookmark box for social sites on your Internet Explorer browser

Web pages that have the bookmark box for social networks are aggravating, when you mouseover the bookmark box, it opens blocking your view
of the webpage under it and will not close until you mouse over it again.

If you would like to disable this unwanted feature the list of steps below will allow you to mouseover without activating the box.

Step by Step click on the following in Internet Explorer:

(1) Tools
(2) Internet Options
(3) Security
(4) Restricted sites
(5) Sites

Add the following string to the restricted sites field

*.addthis.com/

When done close your browser, reopen it, mouseover should not open the window any longer.

Have not found a way to remove it from web pages, however this should cripple it, should work on XP as well.
