But now I have another question. I also have one HDD (500 GB) with 3 partition. One of partition is only for image file (if there goes something wrong) and I dont use it at all (only 15 GB). How can I disable this drive ? I try in Device manager, but shows me only one HDD (with no partition).

thank you, guys.

For this you need Disk Management
Press the "Win" & "R" keys
Type in "diskmgmt.msc" (without the quotes), press <Enter>
There you can delete the partition, and then extend the partition to the left of it to regain the space.

Yes you will lose all data on the partition by deleting the partition.
Why do you want to hide the partition? Also what program do you use to write the image to the partition?

Did Dell supply any CD/DVDs with the computer?

Ok. In that case it's the Dell Recovery partition.
There are a couple ways you can hide it.
1. Remove the drive letter.
Go into Disk Management
Right click on the drive and click "Change the drive letter".
Select D: and click Remove.
2. Hide the drive in Windows Explorer.
There is a registry tweak to hide the drive just in Windows Explorer. I'll have to look online and figure out what it is.
Edit: One article on this is at http://www.lancelhoff.com/2008.....indows-xp/

I wasn't aware that Dells shipped with a D:Recovery partition. After a quick google, it seems it is a new thing for them.
Heres some info

Edit. This seems a bit dangerous to me. Making it so easy to restore to Factory settings so easily.
Also. If the partition was "disabled", how do you get to it easily if you need it?
