(Solved) - How To Create An Image On Paint That Is The Right Resolution For A Wallpaper?

Hi Guys;

i am trying (and failing) to create my own desktop wallpaper. I am creating an image with a black background and the words

Geek.

in the exact middle.

when i save it the words

geek.

come out all blurry, how do i fix this problem???

You need to start with the image size set to the same size that you want your wallpaper, so in Paint you create a new file then click on the 'resize' button and put in the dimensions (resolution) of your desktop in pixels - you may need to take the tick out of the 'keep aspect ratio' box. Create your masterpiece then save as a jpg file.

If it is fuzzy, then there are not enough pixels. You have to start with a higher resolution image.
