I am wondering if we can change the iPhone User Agent, such that browsers which auto detect user agent could be bypassed and Standard versions of the websites be loaded instead.

One example - why i would require such a thing is Google Calendar, the iPhone version wouldn't let one make modifications to any of the calendar entries and google.com/calendar always redirects to the iPhone version.

Are you using the 2.0 firmware or older - and if older, jailbroken or not?

Hi,

No matter what I try to do, my Iphone cannot access applicationmanager.gov. The website refuses access under Safari, and that is the only browser I can use for the Iphone. Is there a way to install an alternative browser, or to modify my Iphone's user agent string in order to imitate Firefox, Opera, or IE, for the purposes of accessing this site? Thank you for your efforts.
