how do I boot from a flash drive on a windows 7 and windows 8 computer I want to run fedora thanks a lot every one

You have to set the BIOS to boot first from the USB port. If your BIOS has this capability you usually get to it by entering the BIOS setup, usually by pressing F2, DEL or ESC at the BIOS flash screen. Then it will boot from the USB port. However some BIOSs do not have this capability at all and you will not be able to do it.
