I have installed Windows server 2008 standard, added users but non of the user can login, it says wrong password or contact adminstrator. also it does not allows me to install active directory because of a dynamic IP, what can i do. Please help i am a student tryingt to learn the server environment on my own

First if you have the administrator password, login and change your ip to a static one.
Second ,once done , go to run and put : dcpromo
and follow the steps to install the Active Directory . Once The AD is installed , you can create users as mush as you want.
