ust wondering were i can customize media center? I use Windows Vista home +
+
When I start the program I see tons of stuff i don't want or even use and
like to hide or del them.

Example of things i like to hide or disable so I not see them when media
center starts. I like to use this program to watch tv, record tv and watch
dvd's. With that said i dont need the following
Online media
Sports
Add extender
Picture library
music
and more

If you pop in a DVD and you have autorun enabled Vista will ask how you want to handle the disc. Choose Windows Media Center and it will play the DVD specifically and you will not have to go through the process of launching Media Center first and seeing all the menu's etc ...

In fact you can go into Control Panel and select "Auto Play" and there you can choose which application handles any of your media... DVD, CD, software, etc ...

If your looking for a way to hack Media Center so it is a "lite" version I would have to look into that one. I imagine there is a reg hack that might handle that for you.

There's definitely not a setting for that... I think you'll need a hack.
