how i change buttons in start

right next to start search is 2 buttons that does "stand by" and "lock" computer

really like to know how in reg if i can change them to "shut off" and "reboot"

also to even make this more fun for someone i like to remove the ">" button after.

any help would be great. i looked around on site and cant find it if its here.

Go to How to Geek home page. Under Desktop Customization see Change the Windows Vista Power Buttons to Shut Down.This will do part of what you want.
