Goggle's home page just forced a design change on me, moving the page tabs from a horizontal bar to a vertical panel. I HATE the change, which sucks up screen real-estate, and forces the page font to be smaller! Google never asked, they just changed it. I notice my search preferences also keep disappearing.

I tried typing "javascript:_dlsetp('v2=-6542.05478'); " (without the quotes) in the URL bar while on the iGoogle home page, and this fixed things for about an hour, then they reverted to the vertical tabs, and it won't work again. Tried both IE and Firefox 3. Reports from the Google support group are varied on the success of this, but no one seems to have a guaranteed fix.

Help!

Hopefully one of these is working for you, hasn't for me just yet.

This one "sort of" works, but it is not perfect.

In FF2. Just reload the the first instance, and it's OK.
