I have placed my favorite folders in the left sidebar of the Vista explore window. However, when I "save as" in some programs (e.g. Adobe pdf), the dialogue window does not include my favorite folders. Years ago, I had a freeware app that would let me add favorite folders to a pull down function in the "save as" dialogue. However, after a week of searching, I cannot find it.

What I want to do is to be able to save a file, any file, from any program or dialogue window, to a one of my favorite folders.

Thanks for your help.

I am not 100% sure I understand what you want to do since I don't know what you mean with "Favorite Folder". What you can try to do, is to put your Favorite Folder into the "sendto" menu. Then when you right click on any object (file or folder) you can send it to that favorite folder - it is like a Copy. To include your Favorite Folder into the sendto menu, make a shortcut of it on the desktop. Then type SHELL:SENDTO into the start/search field and hit Enter. That will open the sendto shell folder. Drag your Favorite Folder shortcut from the desktop into there. If you put it into first place, it will also be in first place in the sendto context menu. Now you can right click on any object and "Send To" the Favorite Folder.
