I have these files pptx and docx files that I want to open using my Office 2003 program. Is there a easy way to open them?

Download and install Microsoft Compatibility Pack.

Make sure that Office 2003 is updated.

I tried downloading the Compatibility Pack and got the following message:

For .pptx you could use the PowerPoint viewer 2007. For the .docx you can ask someone who has Word2007 to convert it to .doc.
