I recently built my computer. I switched video cards and I keep having the same problem with my computer freezing. My video card goes up to 66-72 degrees. Even after I double the fan speed with MSI Afterburner it still gets as hot. How do I get my video card to cool down?

If 66 to 72 is the maximum temp, then there must be another reason for your freezes. These temps are not out of the ordinary.

If you can try making the room your computer is in cooler. That's what i have to do sometimes with my custom built PC.

Perhaps liquid cooling is for you.

@Xhi. That is the coolest thing I have ever seen. (No pun intended.)

@1337Alec. Is that a working temp or idle? Because I'd expect to see at least that kind of temp under load.

dkpuk, hi and welcome. It is always best to start a new topic for a problem. It is considered impolite to hijack a thread.
Your particular problem will be very different from the OP

(noted owen123, thanks)
