how create desk top Icon on quick launch bar in Window 7

Why not using this button at the rightmost of the taskbar:

You can also press WINDOWS+D to show the desktop, or WINDOWS+M to minimize all windows.

You can also use this if you want, but I'll stick with the Windows default button:
