How can i play DVD's in windows 8?(4 posts)
yes it supports burning dvd's, you just need to select a file and hit the "burn" button on the bar above the files. be sure to have your burnable disc in your burner/dvdplayer/cupholder. :D
You can play most dvd's through windows media player as well! Now, the one key thing to all of this information I'm telling you right now is that you do need to have a DVD player/burner combo. Under my computer it would be called DVD RW.
Hope this helps,
To play DVD's I second gedstar's recommendation of VLC, in fact I recommend VLC no matter what system you have. It plays anything you throw at it. As far as burning DVD's...? I wonder if W8 retained the very good DVD maker or Movie Maker from W7...? I'll check
