I been working on a possible Wiki page that lists all the BIOS, Recovery, and Advanced boot options hot keys for all the Different OEM's of computers. Although this is taking a while I think it would be helpful for me and everybody else. Do you think its a good idea or should I scrap the idea?

Just the basic's so people can know how to boot into safe mode or look in their BIOS or do a system recovery if needed on any machine

I just confirmed it with Microsoft, Advanced boot options can always be accessed by tapping F8.

I found out that almost every computer made is different based on xp or vista or windows 98 and also year made. Here are a very few of the newer computers made.

-------- BIOS ▐ Recovery ▐ Advanced Boot Options (Always F8)
HP: --------- F10 ▐ F11 ▐ F8
Sony: -------- F2 ▐ F10 ▐ F8
Gateway: --- F2 ▐ F8 ▐ F8
Acer: -------- F2 ▐ F8 ▐ F8

Let me know if they are wrong and if so on which computer.. This article would be very very very long and would have to take a lot of time calling OEM's to verify on exact models (easier to call them)
