Looking some advise on which Server OS is best for use with Vista, currently 3 laptops in house, server intended to be used for music, video, pictures, files and documents and need to be able to login remote via internet.

all suggestions are welcome.

It really depends on the server specs and whether you want to stream content. Windows Vista with Media Center is actually a pretty good choice for streaming all the content, but you could go the other route and use Ubuntu with samba file sharing (what I'm doing).

These are the topics I need to start writing about.

Txs, currently I am looking to use Windows Server 2003 or Windows Home Server, it would be indeed to utilize to stream media. I do not have any experience with Ubuntu or samba.
