I ran a virus scan and hidden files are not showing. I made sure the hidden files to show box was checked in the appearance folder and saved it. I'm running Windows XP. These are the files that I'm getting as Malware:
* C:\WINDOWS\$NTUNINSTALLKB890046$\AGENTDPV.DLL
* C:\WINDOWS\$NTUNINSTALLKB890046$\SPUNINST\SPUNINST.EXE
* C:\WINDOWS\$NTUNINSTALLKB890046$\SPUNINST\SPUNINST.INF
* C:\WINDOWS\$NTUNINSTALLKB890046$\SPUNINST\UPDSPAPI.DLL

Any help would be appriciated.
Thanks

iddybitty hi.

Those files in xp are hidden so that they can't be messed with.
They are applied after xp updates to allow uninstalling the updates later if you so wish.
They should not be deleted, your system may become unstable.

I don't think those are Malware? Look HERE, that appears to be a valid MS KB890046 fix? You running XP x64 system, which it is for? Look HERE too.
