hibernating problem

when i hibernate my desktop it resumes in a minute or so. I use windows xp. how to fix the issue..

If it's waking up due to network activity, you can try the steps at http://www.howtogeek.com/howto.....ows-vista/
It should work for Windows XP too.
You can get to Device Manager this way:
1. Click Start.
2. Right click on "My Computer" and click Manage.
3. Click Device Manager on the left.
