I have used Chrome as my default browser for several months now.

Recently my hyperlinks in an Excel spreadsheet stopped working (the same in Word)

I thought there might be a problem with the browser (it had recently updated) so proceeded to reinstall it and set it as my default.

Lo and behold the links now worked.

After I hibernated (my normal daily procedure) and restarted the links stopped working again.

When I checked things through Chrome had disappeared from the Default Programs list

Could the fact that Chrome doesn't install in the Programs folder be the problem ?
