Hi,

Just joined :) Right now am exploring Word 2007 on a Windows7. Making some headway but finding customising Word to what you want (rather than what it wants) quite a learning curve! ;)

If you are familiar with the older style menus of Office programs and/or feel a need to take a break from the ribbon style and return to the older menu layout, you can download and install UBit Menu, an Office plugin which will give you a new tab on the ribbon with the older layout menu. HTG had an article about it HERE. I still find myself using it now and then, but when I first started using Office 2007 I needed the familiar layout more often in order to get my work done faster.
