I accidentally deleted the PUBLIC folders and contents today while installinmg my router. I DID it and it was not part of teh install process. I have found video slide shows onYOuTube, but can not find the actual files of all those beautiful pictures. CAn anyone help? Or send me a copy of theirs? :)

Thanks

It's 10 times too big to send anyhow. Go to the next PC store and copy them on an USB stick or SD card.
OR, check once whether you have a restore point from before the day you deleted it.

For restore points you check as follows: (Note: shadows and Restore points is the same thing)
1. Type CMD into the Start Search field
2. Right click on CMD above and "Run as administrator"
3. Into the little black OS window type VSSADMIN LIST SHADOWS
4. Find a shadow for the date you want - make sure it is for (C:)
5. If there is one for the said date, follow the instructions below.

Well, since I have the instructions ready, I can post it. Follow steps 1 thru 8 below, and you will get your lost folders back. Since you cannot click on the link in the "Comics" here it is once more: http://www.shadowexplorer.com/downloads.html

PS: You get the "Export" when you right click on the folder. Sorry, forgot this in the comic. --- And let me know how you made out!
