(Solved) - Help with grub

I am trying to move from Ubuntu 8 to Windows 7 on a dell mini Inspiron 10. While trying to clear the hard drive a power failure left me with the job half done. Now when I turn the netbook it boots to grub and I seem to be stuck there. The Ubuntu version originally on the netbook was 8. I have iso and exe copies of Windows 7. could anyone lead me through the steps to get there.

First of all create bootable USB device with ubuntu 8. Repair it. then proceed with the installation of win7 on your system.
