Help with charts in excel 2010

Hi guys,
Relatively new to excel, got shifted to a new department in my company. Because I can write HTML they assumed I knew excel "it's the same stuff. isn't it?".
I was told I could learn on the job. Usually find all I need to know searching online but stuck with this one. Pretty basic so probably an easy answer for someone - please!

I have 3 columns which record Date, Orders open, Orders closed.

I was asked to provide a line graph showing these values.

I can provide the graph no probs but the legend at the side is incorrect - open is blue, closed is red when in fact it should be the other way round.

Hope this is clear, if not I can probably post a pic.

Any ideas? John

Hi SoM and welcome to HTG.

A pic would be really helpful as well as a screenshot of some of your data.
