Help these folders are driving me

OK - set them to "Display as link". Then Reset default.

If it is 2 weeks ago, we probably don't have a restore point that far back any more.

O.K i displayed them as links but the properties still show that there both pic folders.

It's showing two picture folders with the same items in them. Now there are two picture slots in the start menu, The music one went away but it's still in my files.

In Orb > Properties > Start Menu > Customize > Click "Use Default settings" > OK > Apply> OK

Hmmm, this really starts to puzzle me. When you go into the folders, do you now have more than 1 picture folder and 1 music folder? Or just 1 each.

I have 2 picture folders, each saying in the properties that they have 4 folders in them each thats crazy.

Since it is the pictures, the mess could come from the Windows Photo Gallery. That is a messy program and had given me a lot of problems a year ago.

Open the Photo Gallery once and see what it shows in terms of pictures

No don't delete it. Go into all programs and find "Windows Photo Gallery", click on it and look into the left pane of WPG what folders you have.

Does it show your folders once or several times (in the left pane)

No it only shows them once.

So it knows what the right folder is. I think we can therefore rule the Photo Gallery out as culprit.
