I do not want recently opened files to appear in the drop down file menu of Windows Media Player 10. Can anyone tell me how to tweak it so recent files do not show up? Thank you.

I'm using 11 but this could still work, Hit Alt. to open the drop down menu, then Tools> Options. You want the "Privacy" tab, uncheck the box in History and clear the data.
