unable to uninstall and reinstall java on my pc.

Could you describe in more detail exactly what happens when you try to uninstall and reinstall Java? Then we can help you better.

Select Java app > Uninstall > Yes > Choose Advanced mode. it should be straightforward from there. Delete everything it shows after the programs uninstaller has done its job.

you can update it instead of uninstalling and resinstalling it.
