I heard something about "ground loop" researching, but I am not quite sure what it is. I have determined that this noise only occurs when the HDMI connects TV to a game system, DVD player, laptop. If it is connected and one or both a turned off, there is no noise.

So basically, how can I stop this noise?

Ask if you need any info.

I just turn down my hearing aids ;-)

Have you tried a different HDMI cable?
Is the TV and the other device plugged into the same outlet?
Did you have mushrooms with the salad (I've gotten a buzz from 'shrooms from time to time)?

This gets to be complicated very fast.

@doctor, I do not have another cable. Also, they are plugged in the same outlet, why?

@raph, I am smart in quite a few things... but I do not get anything that says.

I don't know if it has any bearing on your case, but back when I dealt with high-end audio there occasionally arose a situation where a power supply circuit in one piece of gear would backfeed EMI into the line and cause buzzing issues, especially if one piece of gear or the other utilized a "cold chassis" or floating ground. Just for the hell of it, run an extension cord 'cross the room and power one piece from it and see if your buzzing goes away.

Was going to mention feedback but, this problem is different. Not like a mike too close to an amp.

As Rick said very complicated.
