I took my hard drives out and bought an external enclosure but I am confused on what to do once I have the enclosure hooked up to my (another) computer. I am trying to be cautious cuz I don't want to lose my stuff on hard drive, if I haven't already!

Hi bfly121, welcome to HTG. Could you please enlighten us to your problem. The way I read it, is that you have taken out more than one HDD (hard drive) from your computer and have put them in an external enclosure. What exactly are you trying to save? If it is an OS (operating system) then you will have no luck!! If it´s just data, then tell us exactly what. Thx, Matt

Hi Matt, thx for replying back. HP had told me that I did not have a os listed on the repair window. This is b-cuz the hard drive driver is missing. If the hard drive driver is not present the os system would not load.
So, I bought an external hard drive to try and save all my music, pics, etc. I am just not sure on where to go from here... I am not sure what other information u may need..
