Dear all, i have one internal 160gbtoshiba (hitachi: hts545025b9a300) hard drive. i formatted that, after that its showing 99.9MB capacity, used space 2.65MB & free space 97.3MB. i want to use as external drive, so plz hepl me out about it....
Have you got an OS on it ? Does the computer boot up ?
just now i checked its there one recycler folder & system volume folder, but both are in hidden format.
Open Disk Management, and see if you have any other hidden, or unallocated partitions.
yes under the disk management its showing like it. 100MB NTFS healthy (active), 19.90GB unallocated & 212.88GB is free space.
It's a 250 GB drive, and those figures are correct for that.
