Happy May Day.....
(14 posts)You know I don't think i had ever heard of it until now. but I suppose i could have just searched on Google for it. I did and found good ole' wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/May_Day look at the part about the Americas. I guess thats where doorbell ditching came from .....
Lighthouse, we never celebrated May Day in my house growing up. And while it is known here in America, it gets very little play on the news or in schools and offices. So, for those to whom May Day is a big deal, I'm interested to know what does it mean to you? I can read the wikipedia article but that won't tell me what it means to real people and how it is received in different countries. So, please, enlighten me.
