Wow

Very pleasently surprised, thought I would give it a go, considering that IE8 has a load of imporvements, but a few compatibility issues

First thoughts:
PROS: Very fast load!
Nice and clean interface
Simple
Instant google search from address bar
IE shortcuts work
Very useful Download history page
Saves what you type - e.g: if BBPress tells you off for typing two posts in close succession
No prompt for allowing/disallowing scripts - ie on HTG!
could be a CON for some?

CONS:
Bit of a shock with not task bar at top!
Not many options to change
(Pernickity me - icons don't show up from copied over favourties! :O)
Youtube can't cope
Needs lots of plugins

Worth a look though!

Update - Have just found the spell checker! Unfortunately, there is no F7 like in Office :(

PS: Thanks for that site whs
Not being a Firefox user I cannot comment on that section, but the IE8 and Chrome related sections are pretty true!

Finally,
Despite the speed improvement, I think I will stick with IE8 as my usual browser, but I will keep Chrome for whenever I need it - we shall see!

Chrome is a work in progress. I really liked using it but anything with Flash really killed the browser.

@jack7h3r1pp3r
Not to mention that IE8 is still beta software. Stuff definitely might not work on it. ;-)

IE8 is still very good
If Chrome wasn't so much faster and smaller, I'd still be using IE8! (it's still installed though ,ofc :D)

Yeah, I liked how fast Chrome was and also liked the lack of a toolbar at the top.
