Gmail and Outlook 2007 IMAP question

I am new to IMAP gmail. How do I get new messages from GMail to show up in my Outlook 2007 "personal folders" inbox, as opposed to "username@gmail.com" inbox?

I haven't done this before, but it seems possible to create a "rule" to do this automatically.

Essentially, when the new email comes in, the rule will define it to be moved to your personal folder inbox.
