(Solved) - Glue program to Desktop

I was wondering, if there's a way to treat a program like it's part of the desktop. I'd like to get my Samsung Software Launcher program to stick with my desktop at all times.
Like a gadget really. Maybe changing the program into a gadget could be a solution? Just wondering.

Why would it not stay on your desktop unless you close it. If you place it in your startup folder it would start when you boot up and unless you closed it it would stay on your desktop.

Well normally, yes. But I use mousegestures which allow me to swich to the desktop quickly. So it's not a major problem, but I was wondering if the program could stay attached to the desktop when I swich to it.

@warlock Thanks! ObjectDock seems to have the option is was looking for! ('Prevents Dock from hiding when Winkey + D is pressed.)
