I am running Windows 7 and projecting to a large wide screen using the Sony Bravia SXRD projector (model # vpl-hw10). I'm connected with an ordinary VGA cable. I had hoped to take full advantage of this very large screen but only 1024x768 shows up with non-distorted resolutions. I assume this is because the device isn't recognized: Control Panel is calling this monitor "Generic non-PnP Monitor". Any ideas? Thanks.

You should ask Sony to provide a driver.
