I have a HP Pavillion desktop, windows vista home premium.I ran a test with PC doctor and the Generic-Compact flash test failed. It sais USB Device (card reader) error code CR152-1W. I have had my computer a little over a year. What in the world does this mean? I haven't got a clue.

Sounds like PC Doctor is trying run a test on a compact flash (CF) card in a USB-connected card reader. If you don't have a card reader, or your card reader doesn't have a CF card in it, you should tell PC doctor to skip the test.

I contacted HP chat and they tried to tell me that my memory card reader was not working and I needed a new one.I don't trust them, thats why I ask on the forum

Just in case you have to explore this any further - there is a PC Doctor Forum http://www.pcdoctor-community.com/forum/

Addition: Don't trust those HP clowns. They know nothing.
