tlo57, that system will be off the hook! I'd like to hear back from you when it's assembled to know how it runs.

The only suggestion I would make is that you consider getting more than one smaller hard drive instead of a single, monolithic 1.5 TB. Even if you don't configure them in a RAID array, having your OS on one and your games on another, for example, will reduce head movement and speed up drive access.

TOTALLY AGREE WITH (ScottW).
Suggest (4) smaller capacity with large cache Hard Drives rather than one large hard drive.
SO MANY MORE WAYS TO CONFIGURE THE SYSTEM FOR ANYTHING !!!!
I didn't read the manual on your board but many of the X-58 MBs have Dual Raid controllers on them so one can use as many HDs as one can "stuff" into a case. (LOL) (LOL)
