Lighthouse, If the grabbed key is my "clue", then I hopped into the transporter and could be lurking anywhere. .ha..ha..ha..ha. If not, feel free to reclue me en francais. (I'm afraid my french skills have many coats of rust on them)

Well Granny. As HTG is a help forum, I shall help you to recover your former/present/future state of existence.
Firstly, you have to go back to a "Restore Point" from before the problem started.
Next. That key round your neck is the one "The Doctor" gave you for unlocking the door of the "TARDIS".
Use it, and jump to now.
That should do it :)
