That's what I do now but every now and then, I get logged out (clearing out cookies, new computer, bad luck, etc.). Will I be able to log in without using Twitter, Google, Facebook, etc?

Nah, it won't be as bad as every one thinks and as its open source the code will constantly update and improve and before long many sites will be right at your fingertips, in terms of replying without even logging in to all of them :)

Really liked your post, not for the change promised, but the succinct argument stopper approach - I will use it in future myself. :-)

One big question:
Is there any way to stop that insidious, underhanded spammy-like underline appearing randomly in Forum messages everywhere these days?
I'm always looking for help and clicking on things and sent to sites like gambling sites and other rip-offs.
I wouldn't want it on mine.
